Description
Display your faith and show your devotion with these Saint Benedict transparent car decals. These Catholic stickers, sold as a pair, are the images of the Saint Benedict Medal, both front and back. The reverse side is especially suited to the safety of travelers because the remarkable exorcistic force which the medal is known for is contained in its acronymic inscriptions. The decals are two independent 3 inch diameter circles.font St. Benedict had a twin sister named Scholastica and he was an exceptional student. St. Benedict performed his first miracle at a very young age. Someone broke a plate and he mended the plate by praying. For a long time he lived alone from the world, as a hermit in a cave and dressed himself in animal skins and furs. It is rumored he was fed by a trained raven. After he came out of the cave he joined with others and his Rules for Life became a religious order known as the Monasticism of the Benedictine Monks. A guy named Florentius once tried to poison Benedict but failed. Benedict was able to shatter the cup of poison. He could also predict the future and the trained raven is said to have helped save him from the poisoning. Pray to Saint Benedict when something gets broken by accident and he will do his best to try and help you get everything fixed up quickly before you get in too much trouble. Founder of western monasticism, born at Nursia, c. 480 died at Monte Cassino, 543. The only authentic life of Benedict of Nursia is that contained in the second book of St. Gregory's "Dialogues". It is rather a character sketch than a biography and consists, for the most part, of a number of miraculous incidents, which, although they illustrate the life of the saint, give little help towards a chronological account of his career. St. Gregory's authorities for all that he relates were the saint's own disciples, viz. Constantinus, who succeeded him as Abbot of Monte Cassino and Honoratus, who was Abbot of Subiaco when St. Gregory wrote his "Dialogues".
