| "Display your faith and spread the message of Our Lady with this Miraculous Medal transparent car decal. In the year 1830, Our Lady appeared in a vision to Saint Catherine Labouré, instructing her to have a medal struck after the model of the vision. This image is the front side of that model. In this image, Our Lady is poised upon the world, symbolizing her queenship of heaven and earth. She is standing on the head of the serpent, implying the fulfillment of the prophesy of Gen 3:15: "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel." Notice also, the serpent has an apple in his mouth, which symbolizes the subversion of his wiles and his ultimate defeat. The rays which shine forth are symbolic of the graces Our Lady obtains for those who ask them of her. The petition encompassing this image is the same inscription which framed St. Catherine's vision.
